← ServicesBoard and non-executive roles

A growth and marketing voice at the board table.

I join boards as a non-executive director or adviser, bringing a growth, marketing and digital perspective to the table. I sit on the board of Clarity Global Group, and I founded and sold an agency, so I know both sides of the board pack.

01

Who it's for.

Chairs and chief executivesYou want growth, marketing and digital judgement on the board, and not only in the management team.
Investor operating partnersYou are building a portfolio board for a private equity or venture capital-backed business.
Executive search firmsYou are filling a non-executive seat that needs a commercial, digital profile.
02

How an engagement works.

Start with a short conversation, not a proposal. If there is a fit, I read the board pack and meet the chair and the executive team.

We agree the shape of the role together: non-executive director, board adviser or committee member. Then I attend the board and stay useful between meetings as a sounding board for the executive.

Questions.

Do you take executive roles too?

Yes, as a fractional chief marketing officer (CMO). Board roles stay non-executive.

How much time does a board role take?

We agree it up front. It depends on the board calendar and any committee work.

Do you work with investor-backed businesses?

Yes. I have sat on both sides of the board pack, as a founder and as a board member.

Where do you work?

I am based in Devon and work across the UK.

A board light on growth and digital judgement shows it in the plan long before it shows in the numbers.
